Obviously better than Sochi, but far from the 2016 one.
A generous 6.

Start Crash, One great Vettel overtake, perhaps 2 more passes throughout the field, good guy FOM lets the crying kid meet Kimi (worth a point all of its own tbh)

A generous 4/10 because everything else was processional

And yet no one has voted 4/10 yet

Do you mean the race where the faster Raikkonen couldn't pass Verstappen during the whole race or the faster Ricciardo couldn't pass Vettel despite the tyre advatange? That race was great seeing a guy(headline material due to the circunstances) cruise to a certain and fluke/easy win

This was easily the best Barcelona race of the Pirelli era. Action packed with incidents, overtakes, fights side by side, a pass for the win and a bit of strategy.

Waiting for codename to come here saying how overated this race was and how previous races on Barcelona were so awesome. Oh wait, he already did that

Let the people who predicted this season to be boring gets bitter because F1 took a very good step forward

7. expected it to suck after 2 contenders retired on lap 1 but it was an interesting fight for the win with an overtake for the lead.

A battle for the lead here in Barcelona in F1?
I expected the same dullness as in Russia, but its a nice surprise. so a good 7 of 10.

We've got a proper scrap for the lead, with the championship contenders banging wheels, some chaos at the start, and not many overtakes but high-quality ones.

A pity that last laps lacked of action, but still a 9 from me.

7. Not as Finntastic as Sochi, obviously, but there was some action on track through most of the race. And an actual fight between two teams for the win! And how that young fan was treated was marvelous! I bet he remembers this day for the rest of his life and will be a fan forever, if not a racer in the future. 8)

I was curious to see how the boring and much inferior 2016 race got rated here(was predicting people got carried away just because the dominant cars crashed themselves out and left room for a young and unexpected guy to win, despite the lack of or poor racing) and had a good laugh at the amount of 8s, 9s and 10s.

Btw, forgot to say on my previous post that I gave it a 7, and that's a lot for a track like Barcelona.

I voted 7 but I wanted to vote 7.5

It exceeded my expectations because usually Barcelona is difficult to see overtakes and we did see some interesting battles, I was really entertained by this race. Local atmosphere looked great aswell.

These polls are completely irrelevant, on a serious sense. No need for hard feelings, I understand that people vote far more based on the context and the emotions of the moment and etc(last season was likely very boring,so any crash between the leaders would already mean instant 10 for many). It was just for the fun, like looking into old tbk.fameflame

Last year wasnt only for the race itself, but for not having Mercedes at the front, 2 working strategies, 2 nail biting battles and that cinderella story. Probably gave it a 10 and would do it again. It was an oasis in the desert of more of the same grey.
