Nico needs to fuck up the start or have an engine failure, otherwise I can't see how this race will be interesting.

If it's business as usual after T1 then it's Nico's to lose.

the race and the track are very suitable to a Nico title, bland, boring, with no passes

unless we can do something like cutting the power for the floodlights in the middle of the race

MAYHEM

I expect nothing to happen and will tailor my viewing of such events to the first lap

Sprinklers accidently set in motion.

Red Bull has a different strategy today. While everyone in the top 10 starts on the ultrasofts, Red Bull have opted to start on supersofts.
Feeling another Alonso-Petrov 2010 coming.

I don't know who to support today. While there is something in me hoping Hamilton can beat Nico, I then think back to his stupid Snapchat sagas etc.
I'll just be happy this season is over.

Suppose anyone who doesn't like the outcome of the championship can implement the current world politics trend and demand a re-run of the race until they get the result they want :-p

I want to see a Hamilton engine failure in the last 5 laps of the race while he was leading the race and the virtual World Champion.
I want to see this place burn.
Also because Nico deserves this title tbh.

I'd rather have the Yas Marina Circuit burn

there's a 4% chance of rain during the race - more than Trump's chances of becoming President of the US, lol.

Did I hear correctly on Sky yesterday that there's only been 30 overtakes on this miserable track?

Probably misheard that.

they will find a way to pump water from the sea to clear the fire

maybe an earthquake during the race, the tarmac shattering with DRS enabled

That figure & there reaction they were having to it actually shows how things have changed & how hard it is to please F1 fans.

Nowadays it seems that 'only' having 30 overtakes is considered too little but if we were seeing that number a decade ago it would probably have been considered best race of the year because thats a little over double the race average we were getting up until 2010.

Who was that random dude in the channel 4 opening montage? Jordan or the main presenter doing that would have been more logical

Merc have apparently warned Hamilton not to try and back Nico up.
