The 500 starts at 2 this year? What happened to having an actual day race, starting at noon or 1?

not sure if it's a typo or if NBCSN is allowing it but: FansChoice has Sunday's K&N East race at New Smyrna listed on their streaming schedule. Large car count this year for it with 29 cars entered.

They are also doing the usual World Series schedule on other nights as well.

Anyone else more uneasy than normal for the ARCA race? They'll be running their new, CoT-style bodies. Lots of drag only gonna pack them up more tightly.

Uneasy? Think you mean excited. :excited:

Hillenburg was raving on twitter that all 3 lanes are fast instead of just hugging the bottom, and it's "the most competitive field" in 20 years or something along those lines.

Just from being at the test and being out there in the new car, it's going to be a wild wild race. The cars are extremely stable so, easy false sense of security. Speeds are slow compared to previous years, around 180 in the draft today. But, that again makes for a bigger more bunched up pack.

Spec body, spec motor and restrictor plate... it's basically IROC. Same speeds as IROC too.

Man that's crazy slow for draft speeds. Might be the saving grace for them all.

Given all the brand-new Gen 6 bodies that'll be sent to the trash heap after tomorrow, it's no wonder they have a two-month break after Daytona.

First time I've done the random fantasy game, and I got Kevin Harvick. It's probably all downhill from here.

I also got the #4

There has to be a better random fantasy picker, A) I don't know all the drivers by their numbers so have to google and B) does it HAVE to tweet, eeesh

Lets find another for the 500?

Gray Gaulding will be in the #23 (of course), and this is what the car showed up to the track looking like.

Crab-walking and opening the roof flap to keep air off the rear spoiler seem to back in full force this year.
