Danica has revealed her ride for Daytona and now she has a connection to Zippy.

http://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/cup/story/_/id/22181432/danica-patrick-drive-daytona-500-premium-motorsports

Thorsport is switching to Ford.

http://www.espn.com/jayski/trucks/2018/story/_/id/22179941/thorsport-racing-partners-ford-performance

I read that they have gotten some trucks from Brad Keselowski Racing, which should help with their transition.

David Gilliland and CROSLEY Sports group have bought the assets to Red Horse Racing, including their shop.

Charlotte's edited their road course layout, I presume to try and make it suit the cars better.

Basically they got rid of that ridiculously twisty section, thankfully.

I'm curious to see what they do with runoff/barrier protection at T16. There's just no way they can leave it unaddressed. They'll kill people in the pits the first time someone has a big issue on entry there.

figured they were gonna run the shortcut, as the extra loop was originally unmarked on the Legends Car track maps (separately added as INEX is still using it for both long & short layouts)

temporary walls (k-rail / jersey barrier style) will be on drivers left along that portion of pit road

Since Robby is teammates to Danica....

Snyderfunn is a member of TBK. Zippy is a member of TBK. Zippy is Robby. Robby is teammates to Danica. Danica is driving in the Daytona 500.

Technically speaking, Justin Snyder is starting in the Daytona 500.

What a time to be alive.

Thankfully I've been in touch with Brett Bodine pretty regularly and updated him with everything I was doing, he told me after Homestead that I was approved for Daytona... BUT that he would "really be happy" if I at least ran the ARCA test and race. I had done the ARCA test back in 2014, and thankfully Jay (owner of Premium) was really great friends with Andy Hillenburg, who gladly allowed me to run 30-ish laps in the test earlier this month. So Brett was definitely happy with that, and now off we go.

Since you know Brett Bodine you can say to him, Brett you know you didn't really win North Wilkesboro, right? Now seems like a perfectly good time to do that.

Probably best to wait until after the Daytona race to break that particular bit of ice...

If not, the wings might be extra crispy. :p

Seriously though, to be the guy that everyone has to go through for approval... the dude had some pretty ARCA level wrecks in his career.
