To be fair, I kinda did expect Kimi and Max to tangle anyways. Wether or not Vettel rammed into them.

If Vettel was smart he'd have taken out Lewis or at least covered the right side instead of focusing on Kimi and Max side. Who knows, maybe Kimi and Max might have taken each other out without Vettels stupidity. Lewis really had a stellar start as well.

This. You see Hamilton on the right of the track with nobody close in front of him, while Vettel is going to the left to defend from Verstappen or Raikkonen. That was stupid. Vettel should be looking at Hamilton and no one else. Who cares if he wins or is fifth or eight, he should focus on being in front of Hamilton. Hamilton is his rival, not some young Dutchman with very little points, not his teammate. The very fact that Vettel goes to the left while the gap infront of Hamilton is opening up on the right, shows what an uterly stupid move Vettel made. And that was before they crashed.

And for this distracted mindset alone is why he will lose to Lewis this year.

Both Ferrari seats are being wasted. Gotta feel for the guys in the team.

Both? If the team would focus on their fastest driver, they might already have capped the title. Now they focus on their PR marketing's idea of the best driver available that might bring more cash for the team. No wonder they can't get the title. All the effort for nothing because they focus on the wrong driver.

Lmao, if you suggest that Kimi is the fastest driver in the Ferrari, you are the most delusional member in TBK history.

This is the greatest achievement that I've ever accomplished. Even the slalom district youth championship (I was the only participant in my class) pales next to this.

This is great, though. Finally I get some recognition. You know, this really wakes the dreamer in me. It really does! I don't know, if I put my mind into it, work really hard, never skip a day, always on the beast mode, then, I don't know, maybe another fifteen years later my boss finally notices me and my talent. And fires me on the spot. But that wouldn't matter. None at all. Because I'm the Finnish James Allen, bitch! I can start writing my own F1 columns and so on.

I think I have to check wikipedia what James Allen has actually done in his life. I know it's something F1 related...

Legard was good as a commentator on 5-Live but he didn't transition well to TV commentating. James Allen was good initially when he replaced Murray Walker, but then started attempting to be the literal replacement of Murray by getting continually overexcited, blurting out nonsense and generally making stupid errors in obvious situations. With Murray it was charming, with James Allen it was cringeworthy.

The odd thing about James Allen, British driver fanwanking aside, is that he was generally an excellent pit reporter and still produces fairly good written stuff via his blog. There was just something about live commentary that excited him a little too much.

The worst of James Allen to me was how he acted all smug and screamed "I TOLD YOU SO!" when Kimi had his suspension failure due to the flat spot at Nurburgring 2005
Really turned quite a shocking finish into an unbearable one to listen back to, according to him they should've heard his commentary, pitted kimi and settled for 6th/7th behind alonso instead of trying like racers to win the race and outscore the man they were behind in the championship

He was too much of a jack the lad wannabe wide boy to be a good commentator, he skewed his commentary to the sun readers watching and it was painful, at times.

People have a thing about Legard being worse, but I can't see it. Legard is nothing to me, just a neutral, bland voice that gave Brundle some thinking time, neither making you excited and interested but neither you or making you cringe or roll your eyes at his phrasing or mistakes.
Allen was just Loaded magazine behind a microphone, awful.

So what Allen was to F1 commentary is what codename_47 is to TBK?

;) :p
