I honestly feel gutted about Seb after all they did to put that team together. He was enjoying his best season post ChampCar, and seemed genuinely happy. On top of that he was really fast all month so far and now this.

Hope he recovers fast and doesn't think about retiring as I think he still has some years and wins in him :(

Indeed those are his tyre marks. They did zoom in on one of the angles which showed he'd spun around.

Not the way anyone wanted it to happen, but Bourdais it looking likely to be out for the reason of the season

And Stefan Wilson is owed a ride.

Make it happen plz

Hold on, whose tye tracks are these? Is it an Indy Lights crash, I my be mistaken but none of the IndyCar crashes involved spinning out in 2 at that spot??

from the crashes on Friday that involved Spencer Pigot and Zach Veach, more so Pigot as Veach was earlier in the short chute if I recall.

Indy Lights cars haven't taken to the track yet, they won't until later next week for a test on Tuesday I think.

So what happens now? Dale mentions in that article they need to build up the spare. I guess if they get out today, Ed Jones could qualify it and then somebody else takes the green, but the car won't be out today we might end up with 32 starters.

Coyne is apparently reaching into his Rolodex for James Davison's number.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

18 car will start at the tail of the field if it doesn't qualify today I think.

doubt IndyCar would let it go down to 32 starters.

Doesn't a replacement driver get some extra practice? Would be dangerous to just have him do the final hour on Friday

Okay just learning that there are serious championship points for the Qualy. It's a good incentive, because otherwise I feel that a good starting position isn't that critical for the win here.

edit: and it's not Guerrero or Sharp that would say otherwise, amirite olololo
