And apparently on Danny Watts Facebook page among the messages of support, there have been a few others who have been inspired by him and the acceptance he's been getting to also follow his lead.

That's why it's important, Joe, so don't feel like they have to live their lives in the shadows.

I guess that's a lot of the problems we're seeing in the media atm, a lot of people who have various privileges and accept them as standard just don't understand when people who have been denied those privileges suddenly receive them (or looking like after working so hard to get them, they're going to lose them again...) make big news about it.
Yes, it's not big news to YOU, because you've always been in the "my lifestyle is treated as "normal" club.
It's news to those who have been excluded from that club until relatively recently, and probably a massive weight off their minds that they're not being persecuted or judged merely for who they are, too.

So once again to the Joes, Piers, Katies of the world, try not to make it all about you and some imaginary erosion of your way of life, just be happy for some newer members of the club to get to know, k?

You know, that poor little rich kid who is only in F1 because he's a billionare's son, it might hurt his feelings when people say he's only in F1 because he's a billionare's son! That's exactly the same as someone throwing potential homophobic abuse at an out gay racing driver!!
