So is Vettel getting a penalty for moving under braking or not?

Going by the past decisions by the FIA regarding Verstappens constant moving under braking I dont think so.

Is there even a regulation saying your not allowed to insult officials?

I think Verstappen's penalty was fair, He clearly braked way too late & ran off which gave him an advantage. Yes Vettel wasn't alongside but if Verstappen had braked in the right spot he likely would have been alongside.

Regarding turn 1, I don't think Rosberg deserve's a penalty for that as he didn't really do anything wrong, He was ahead & under control until Verstappen locked up hit the kerb & shoved him off. If anyone should have gotten a penalty for that it probably should have been Max for barging another driver off track.

Hamilton is a bit trickier as yes he ran off & gained some time but that was soon negated by the SC coming out. Still I think it should have been looked at & maybe a penalty be given.

So just whine and you get what you want, there was zero difference between what Hamilton and Verstappen did. One gets a penalty and the other didn't. What the fuck.

He is betting a 2nd and 3rd place can get him the championship...oh boy he will regret playing it safe if his car fails...

As he should be. One more second place and one more third and he wins. Lewis can't do anything about it.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

About verstappens penalty. It's kinda like certain red cards in soccer. You know it's a fair call but at the same time you've seen refs giving nothing or just yellow for equal fouls.

Eventhough I find Verstappens driving unfair and dirty, I m happy we have a driver like him. Hes by far the most entertaining driver in the grid.

Here's Verstappen's OnBoard from turn 1 at the start which I don't believe was shown in the replays.

Lewis just can't resist the jabs at Nico eh? Nico was at least gracious enough to point out that Lewis was fastest all weekend and Lewis comes back with saying that Nico continues to finish in the position he needs lol The man continues to show what a fragile ego he must have.

One thing i want to see is a replay of Alonso's onboard at the start when he was shoved to the grass.

Anyone have something like it?

The inconsistency is galling but I think it's easy to see they got it wrong on Hamilton and right on Verstappen.

I don't actually think that this was intended as a jab though.

Nico wouldn't care either way though, he does what he needs to do.

He's only beating Nico the last two years by shoving him off the road and having the whole team behind him. He would get a mental break down if Nico actually keeps doing what he needs to be doing the last two races. Now, I want some army of camera men on Lewis once thát happens. Biggest show on Earth, right there.

The only thing worth a penalty not being insued today is Lewis starting outside his position.

1. Verstappen, thank you for being here, but yes you deserved that one.
2. Vettel, unless unsportman like conduct is worth a time penalty, the move wasn't that agressive under braking. May be he swerved not to hit Max upfront :whistling:

The easy solution is to have a run off like the first chicane at Monza, where you have to weave between cones, which costs more time. Or like NASCAR at Watkins Glen - you have to come to a stop if you miss the chicane.

LOL no-one can ever realise how they're interpreting what they're hearing before they post do they?

I heard that too and I heard it as a compliment that Nico is doing exactly the right thing and he'd be doing the same thing in his place too so there's no point getting his hopes up about the championship

But no, Lewis is evil, he's taking slights at his team-mate, what a dick, etc
