Maybe it's time NASCAR builds a special victory lane car for the winner to get in and tear up

That way they'll have some semblance of actual race winning car left to inspect.

How exactly did we get to the point that cataclysmic burnouts must follow every last race victory? I mean, a good celebration is fun but it seems to carry a little less meaning when it happens every week.

Well it was definitely less common when this happened:



I kinda remember it becoming a thing with the Junior and Harvick generation. I agree, once it started happening every race it became kinda lame.

I think it started just after the G6 came along and they opened up the rear toe and camber compared to the old COT.
