The FIA have made the radio rules tougher.

While teams are still allowed to give an “indication of a problem with the car” the revised rules states “any message of this sort must include an irreversible instruction to enter the pits to rectify the problem or to retire the car”.

I know Ayrton Senna in Donington 93 is considered one of the all time great wet drives, but have to say, I just watched Hungary 06 again and I actually rate Alonso's drive even better. He just humiliated everyone and was on another planet that day. I'm struggling to recall another drive when someone was as one with the car as him that day. Was simply mesmerizing and only let down by his team.

He made Schumacher himself look slow in mixed conditions, which he certainly was not (to be fair I don't know which tyres each one was on at the video, but still impressive):

His onboards from '05 and '06 are always good to watch. It's amazing that his style of 'throw wheel > wait for car to pull itself in' ever worked...

They've removed the astroturf at Turn 4. In qualifying, Whiting will be crying with everyone exceeding track limits, and won't know why this happens. THINK PLEASE.
EDIT: Almost the whole track has no astroturfs. :slaphead:

I haven't had the opportunity to see it yet but from what I've read they can't seem to stop fucking up all the circuits. Most of them, like Hungary, have already been raped by all the tarmac but apparently that's not enough. Hamilton/Vettel complained that all the bumps are gone now and that it's flat like a pancake. Great job once again...

Now there's a corner that really doesn't need all that tarmac. Especially on exit. That just asks for track limits abuse.

Vettel was having a go at the FIA about it.

But he would have flipped a gazilion times and there would be gravel on the track and someone could spin over that and get in the gravel and flip 3 gazilion times and spraying more gravel on the track and that would result in everyone spinning out and flipping 50 billion gazilion trillion times which obviously would lead to fatalz for some ladybug sitting on the mirror of one of the drivers......
