PASS race at Anderson probably could've ended with a photo finish, but the boys didn't want to play nice.

Zippy is racing Greenville-Pickens tonight in the #2 limited late model

Heard there was a bad incident in the pits tonight at Bowman Gray. If there is no action by either track, NASCAR/insurance or Winston-Salem PD I will be pretty shocked to say the least.

Sucks to hear which parties were involved to, as usually both aren't known for stuff like this (one never did anything like this when I raced against him). I think BGS will take action with this situation as it wasn't on the live racing surface, either way wouldn't see shit like this on track or off if the officials were more strict.....

in other news, sounds like the Super Cup Stock Car race at Rockingham is still a go somehow :?

Man, you're just gonna post that vague shit with no details?

Anywho, after a brief search of Twitter it seems a driver did a couple donuts in the pits while members from another team were on/near his car. Sounds like that driver (some guy named Osborne) was arrested.

These BG fans know that if they really want to see fighting, they can watch boxing or MMA, right? Because there's no legit racing in sight at that place.

saw a post about the situation by one of the persons involved on Facebook earlier, pretty scary to say the least.

5 crew members from the 79 team jumped onto the 27 car as he was coming into the pit area, and more were running towards the 27 as he got to his pit area. Apparently there was no police officers patrolling the pit area at the time they were jumping onto the 27 car as well :8:

Doesn't a typical night at Bowman-Gray end with somebody being taken away in handcuffs. Sounds like what happened was pretty crazy, even by Bowman-Gray standards.

why ruin a perfectly fine football field? granted WSSU isn't that big (I think Division 3 NCAA?) but still.

also, I think it would just cause more shenanigans at other area tracks. Killing 1 bad apple will only create 2 or 3 more smaller ones. :slaphead:

No, because other area tracks wouldn't allow that kind of bullshit to take place.

I hope that would be the case, either way I have no doubt in my mind that it would be attempted by some though.

WSSU is Division II. They've got a rather notable football team, too, making it to the national championship in 2012, where they got blown out by my alma mater Valdosta State. At the very least, just rip up the track and keep the football field.
