I was pretty sure this was Estebans fault at first. Not really though.

I was going to say it was Alonso but I think it's just bad luck. But knowing the stewarts they'll blame someone for it

50/50 to me. Alonso braked way too late but Gutierrez changed his line under braking...

Alonso first moved to the right side so Gutierrez moved to the left to make room for him while Alonso then moved to the left to pass.

Just bad luck

Imagine not a gravel trap there. Sure, he eouldn't have flipped, but he would have clobbered the wall at the end.

Happy to see him out. There's nothing left of that car.

So the tyres. Can they be changed? If not, Hamilton is winner for sure.

Accident would have seen significantly less severe if there was run off so what do you think?

Yep. I imagine for sure at turn 3.

Massa has a two-helmet tactic for the race?

I don't know about that, with that amount of run-off and that much damage he would have probably hit the tire wall at pretty high speed.

No. The car would not have flipped, true, but there would be a single big impact instead of a few tumbles that take a lot of energy out of the car. Bigger and longer run off helps, not asphalt over gravel.

Bloody nora that slow mo replay is one of the best replays of all time! The car seemed to defy physics halfway through its roll!
