Some Dutch media is reporting that Monisha had Giedo v/d Garde's paddockpass blocked after he posted a semi-funny tweet about being on his way to the track but Sauber had nothing to worry as he's only there for meetings.

Dutch media so taking it with a truckload of salt but if true this is very very low.

I wouldn't allow that clown anywhere near my team.

True, but don't forget that barely anybody dared to talk about the contract problems until it became explosive.

It's the dirty side of f1 nobody wants to talk about.

You mean that clown that had contracts with 4 drivers for 2 seats?

They didn't need the press cause they already went to court in November and December. With part of the current press and news sites only around for the clicks and the rumours it could have damaged the case even more.

Anyway they reached a settlement and I guess he is now rich as fun :whistling:

I really wish there were no grid penalties for bits of the car failing.

Does it really save money having an engine that can last a few races? Or is more money thrown into developing engines that can actually do that kind of distance?

Any money 'saved' is just spent elsewhere. The budgets have only gotten bigger haven't they?

Lotus may have there cars impounded because Charles Pic is taking legal action against them for not been given the number of days in the car he was told he would last year.

The team broke the curfew last night as team personnel stayed behind the guard the cars apparently.

It's good to see that Giedo's example is not being wasted.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Well its simple. Don't sign contracts promising shit that you don't/can't or won't deliver on and not expect there to be any consequences if you break the contract.
