#46 is lucky that's only a stop/go, in F1 its an instant disqualification.

All set up for a nice showdown now. Is the Thiriet car good on fuel though?

Dramatic final lap! Too bad the producer did not bother about the GTE battle.

#46 got spun by at least one of those Ferrari's. The other one might have touched him too.

Fuck! Led for awhile but two penalties, bad timing on the sc killed us completely. Racing is a dirty whore.

According to Endurance-Info, the ELMS might run at Spa next year. Not sure whether it'll be the same weekend as WEC or a separate meeting.

I hope so, would give us, Spa-visiting TBK'ers, a chance to nag you for access to your pitbox. :p

In other news, the Ford GT sounds like it's rifling people down with every downshift:

Surely racing is the best form of testing? :?

Will this car only ever race at le mans? :?

If they still haven't gotten their hybrid working then there probably isn't any point. Same for the tyres as well. Those were the two main things that made them so slow at Le Mans.

If racing means sitting in the garage for majority of the race, probably not...

My "well it's different so give them a break" leeway for this program is definitely running out.

It's possible these cars will never be on a racetrack again in competition. What's Nissan's budget for this effort anyway? Since the demise of the IMSA Group C cars Nissan's racing budgets have not been what they really needed to be in order to compete at the highest level. A project as radical as this one needs a serious financial commitment to bear fruit.
