Not to mention the car was missing its entire right side. It's almost like cutting 2 legs off of a table and not expecting it to lean over a bit lol

The clock hasn't been stopped on the practice session... Possibly done for the day...

You all are assuming it's for the car getting half over. They're probably investigating the cause of the crash.

And it's definitely not for the SAFER because Pruett tweeted over half an hour ago that they were going to replace the foam in that spot.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Why would they end practice with 1.5 hours left? It's clear as day it was a suspension failure and if the track has an issue why would you let the Lights cars out there?

Good wreck! Glad hinch is okay. Finally back to some mid 90s style cart speeds and crashes. This is the real deal boys and girls. Ed carpenter might wanna just withdraw since he's a high downforce irl boy. It was too much for Conway to handle too.

I wasn't, they're obviously worried about fatigue now in the suspension components, but it could have been something as simple as a bolt not done up to the correct tolerance and unwinding itself, it does happen, I guess you could say at least these guys are taking things seriously, if a tad overboard, instead of NASCAR who are actively encouraging their teams to take huge risks by not even attaching the wheels to their cars properly in pit stops.

today's practice session has been called by IndyCar. Hope they give the teams a little more time over the next few days before Friday IMO

Because they're shit scared of litigation, let's be honest.
If they let the session continue and someone really does get hurt, then they're in for a huge duty of care claim, if they stop the session and do an 'investigation' then they have at least conducted due diligence, which will help them further down the line should the shit really hit the fan on the big day or before.

Frustrating as hell, but from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense, if a rollercoaster sheds a bolt, they shut it down and fix it, do a h&s investigation and risk assessment, then run the thing empty again before letting Joe public back on, it's the same mentality here, must protect ones arse first.

At this point, I'm just hoping there is a race Sunday. It's really the only race to look forward to on Sunday. Monaco, perhaps will be decent, the Coke 600 will be terrible.

I think the probability is pretty low that it will be canceled or postponed, but... There is a chance. I put it at 15%.
