A fair share of more run-off in the penultimate corner while last two corners are still fast.

But what about overtaking on the main straight? With cars being severely slowed down, they close up just before that straight.

That's actually quite a neat solution - the cars still wouldn't be running as fast into the final corner, and the cars don't have nearly as much trouble following each other as they did at the time of the changes.

Except MotoGP bikes don't corner nearly as fast in the first place, and have an awful lot less mass involved once they lose control. I'd be surprised if a rider could even reach the problem wall by running wide like the F1 cars did.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Kinda got the impression Nico stayed out to improve on his time even though he was already on pole. Still, his 'worse' lap was still faster than Lewis's best, so message sent anyway?

Woah Kimi, why has he lost all his qlf performance? He used to be amazing on saturdays.

Is it down to the Pirelli's?

Yep, he was making a statement. Pole lap was no fluke.

Pole is one way to make a statement, but winning multiple races on the bounce while not make continual excuses or statements of justification about performance will be far more effective for Nico.

Fair play to him then - it's one thing to complain about Lewis being ahead, but quite another to go and do something about it. Hopefully it isn't a one-off.

Raikkonen's lack of pace in Q3 was caused by a tyre blanket issue which burnt a set of tyres, thus leaving him with only 1 new set in Q3.

Much better idea than this stupid chicane that's has ruined any chance of good racing at the track.
