Andreas Bertolini seems slow to me? He is a multiple FIA GT champion in the past with Maserati isn't he?

Fastest lap in AM?

Okay top line speed for the CLM, but I wonder how it stand against the LMP2's.

Hang on, more closer to the left, the faster you are? My bad, misinterpreted the table. You are right there.

Holy shit, that will be good. I will only potentially miss the start as I will be doing a 10K run race then I got all night to enjoy the full coverage including night time at the Hunaudieres Straight.

A senior source from within the broadcasting community has informed DSC that the current plan is for all broadcast TV cameras to be manned and live throughout the whole 2015 Le Mans 24 Hours.

And I think that still means only the race, the roads need to be still opened between the practice+qual sessions and race day. I wonder what has now changed, increased media attention and maybe FIA told them to get their shit together. Watch some night footage from ~1999 on Youtube and there were definitely more cameras on, so quite perplexing how evolution ended up going backwards.

^^ European Working Time Directive was updated in 2003 putting strick laws about shift length and night work into place, perhaps the FIA have finally ponied up the money to pay for a second crew to man the cameras overnight this year.

Sources in the paddock at last weekend’s FIA World Endurance Championship race at Spa indicated that Nissan may run with its internal combustion engine only at Le Mans after the chronicled troubles with its hybrid system in testing.

Rules stipulate that all factory LMP1 teams must run a hybrid system, although it’s understood Nissan may be able to get special dispensation should all LMP1 manufacturers be in agreement.

ACO Sporting Director Vincent Beaumesnil would not confirm such a possibility to Sportscar365 and said it’s up to the team to make any announcements.

Any kind of fail from Nissan won't surprise me, actually. For the record, even if they got their hybrid fully operational, I would be expecting them to be no better than 6s slower than pole(probably more like 8s if you ask me)

Also, Gene was suddenly dropped as a driver, instead he takes an advisory role (!?) and the replacement is Shulzhitskiy.

Any bet the all-time lap record will be beaten at Le Mans this year?

Eh? It is either from 1971 if one wants to nonsensically include every damn configuration ever or from 2010.

Oh, sry. Highest average speed is Stuck's 1985 lap however. This years' cars are in any way awe-inspiring. Porsche gained 5 seconds at Spa from last year. That's amazing.
