Just seen that in the K&N West race over the weekend, that Nicole Behar finished second.

She also ran decent in the first race of the season till getting dumped very late in the race.

The good of a digital dash is that you can put whatever you want. Even and old vintage set.

Vaguely interesting but who really cares? It won't affect anything we see as viewers.

Well, except onboard footage.

I know it's not a big deal anyway but I always loved the old style gauges. Every series has a generic, boring dinky MOTEC style display but those big bright gauges taking up half the dashboard were always cool to look at.

The Nascar traditionalists will be enraged. THESE ARENT THE DASHES I WAS BROUGHT UP ON. Who fucking cares, the sport you loved is already dead. Deal with it.

The sport he loved also had to kill it's predecessor in order to be like that anyway. How Nascar will look, race and be like in 30 years from now (if they aren't dead)?

I don't know. How many winglets can you fit on a car with 350hp?

According to an MRN article, the data captured by the new digital dashboards will be available to the fans or something. Teams have the option to start using them 8/5/15 and they will be mandatory next season.

So yeah, thanks NASCAR. More interactivity is what we've all been craving so much. This'll right the ship for sure...

So nascar will expect people to pay to know what RPM junior's motor is running at? What gear he is in?

What's more worrying is there will be people dumb enough to pay for it.
