Absolutely no reason for that barrier to end there, but it does. I haven't noticed the tire walls they said they put up on any unprotected concrete either.

I think they have the tire walls at the opening of the wall on the inside of turn 1 after the jersey barriers that are inplace infront of the entry to the infield road course.

Worst part is that the majority of the frontstretch is still mostly concrete. Only the areas where the walls are curved have the SAFER.
