Nico's wife is pregnant, expecting in August

Nasr's going to be just as hilariously awful as Maldonado.

Maldonado has this though, something that Nasr probably never will, unless they all crash on lap 1

So, it's less than 3 weeks till the cars hit the track at Albert Park :)

Just be glad women drivers aren't a common thing in F1. The FIA would freak out if they get married over the summer break and take on their husband's name (or drop it in a divorce).

Could you just imagine if Megan Fox was in F1 as a driver? She'd go away over the summer break, Marry Toto Wolff & change from a Fox to a Wolff....

Sounds like the FIA wanted LeMans style fins on the cars. Not for Safety reasons though...

I see the FIA is focussing on the important matters again.

If Manor start to shake abit, they could step in a take the lead.

In the article it mentions marketing & brand awareness to consumers. They could even just purchase the naming rights for some of the GPs. I know Australia & Spa often struggle to attract a naming rights sponsor up until the last minute.... Maybe the could talk to the FIA about renaming the podium to the Renault-dium? It's catchy ey?

Have any videos surfaced for the Nasr/Wolffe collision?

We already had that....and then we didn't....cause of you know...the FIA. If they want people to be able to see the numbers how about they just enforce a fixed position and size on the side pod. I mean they are making everything uniform with the rules, so why not take away a bit more freedom from them.

Sauber found a pretty decent spot for numbers... On the side of the nose. It also conceals the lack of sponsor....

Does the FIA think fans of F1 are as thick as two short planks? If there were 40 entries I'd understand the need. But we can all count to 16 (which is the number of F1 cars we'll likely see in 2015 to 2016).

How about addressing the REAL FUCKING ISSUES?

Rant over.

Jean Todt rescued Peugeot from the brink of death in the 80's, when he masterminded the car company's WRC project.
Jean Todt turned around the fortunes of Ferrari in the 90's, when he masterminded the F1 superteam's dominant period.
WTF is Jean Todt doing at the FIA?

The Red Bull looks good now that it's actually going. Doing a lot of laps today and I read on Autosport that the car looked heavy on their fastest lap, which is the fastest lap of today so far.

Jean Todt's FIA has brought us...

...driver numbers fixed for career
...ban of helmet redesigns
...double-points finale
...smaller F1 grids

W00T he can be really proud of his first term

Sometimes I just get the impression they just don't care anymore. Not the FIA, not Todt, not Bernie.
Or at least they have a plan that we don't know about. If they really wanted to prevent this small grid Caterham and Marussia would still be around. Hence, even HRT would probably be around and Sauber, Lotus and Force India wouldn't be in trouble.

Only thing I can think of is so Bernie could buy back F1 from CVC on the cheap.

Manor have a verbal agreement with Ferrari to run 2014 engines.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117752

So there going to be in an under developed car (Once there 2015 car is ready) running engines that are about 50bhp down on the 2015 units. I can see them failing to get within 107% a lot of the time. Perhaps they should look at ditching the 107% rule for at least 2015 to help Manor get back on there feet because no investor is going to stick around if there car is struggling to make the race.
