I enjoyed it. The finish was good, too - the drama of if Kenseth would get eaten alive by the pack or not was good.

Racing was a solid 9/10, -2 for a anticlimactic finish and a shitty winner

I didn't fall asleep so it was pretty good. They did get in a line but it was only a lap or two before someone got antsy and made a move to bunch it back up. This won't happen in the 500 of course and is not indicative of what we should anticipate.

Kenseth threw the block on Truex and took all his momentum. Had this been the last lap of the 500 then Kenseth would've gone for a ride... Or Truex would've pussed out and the finish would have been the same. Everyone is not Tony and Brad who will dump the guy throwing the block.

Edwards got duped on the restart and went to the back. Took too long to get back to the front for him to do anything.

As for Harvick and Logano... Both of them need to stop, take a deep breath and get their panties out of a bunch. They're both full of shit. Exhibition race. Bring me back the trophy or the steering wheel. Leave everything else on the track.

Someone's gonna get their head cut off at Texas... the Texas Speedway twitter account remarked that Kurt Busch got "assassinated" on the track. Eddie Gossage is not happy.

Thinking about both races now, both races were pretty good (well other then the fact that the Unlimited was a wreckfest). Kinda of hate but still kinda interested on how qualifying is going to go today.

Also of note, the K&N Pro Series East race is tonight at New Smyrna.

What a fantastically mediocre race.

They showed a good replay of the finish on the cooldown lap. Truex was never close enough to touch Kenseth even if he wanted to. I think what happened is that when Kenseth pulled back down he got the benefit of that "bubble" of air the drivers talk about and it just gave him enough to counter Truex's momenum (which was already running out).

Kenseth and Johnson are masters of dirty blocking the field. When they take the lead in the RP races it's game over till a caution or something happens to their cars.

Much like Earnhardt did last year in the 500, it seems that the leader still holds all the cards in terms of being able to control the draft behind him. It's dodgy, but it's definitely do-able. Kudos to Kenseth for doing it without wrecking everyone.

I thought the race was pretty entertaining. *shrugs*

You're not the only one. It was good, even with the high attrition via wrecking.
