#64 Ferrari with big rear end damage

So, Andy Lally hit some debris at 5.00am but a quick inspection in the pits didn't turn anything up. The car broke down 4 hours later and they just discovered this jammed in the front bay:

Missed the first 19 hours. A bit bummed about that. Oh well, I've heard it has been a great race.

Apparently the team have posthumously named the possum "Ballast."

Also, it apparently happened on the banking at well over 100mph yet the radiator survived. How come smacking into a 10 pound beastie at 130mph is no problem but nerfing the back of another car at 20mph always makes other Porsche radiators explode in a shower of steam?
