It´s amazing that Lopez won, here in Argentina we had an unpresedent coverege this weekend, with Fox Sports airing each session live. I hope its a turn in Argentina Motorsport fortunes, that during the last few years was inexistent

Quote:
There will be five Citroën C-Elysée WTCCs on the grid in the 2015 FIA World Touring Car Championship season, with 2014 champion José María López, four-time WTCC champion Yvan Muller, and nine-time WRC champion Sébastien Loeb staying in the three factory cars. Sébastien Loeb Racing will join the Championship and will run a two-car satellite programme next season with two of this year’s cars.

so that would make 19 cars so far for 2015:
5 Citroen
5 Honda Civic
6 RML Cruze
3 Lada Vesta

Citroen plus Volvo plus Honda plus Chevy plus Lada.

Not a bad line up. Now if only they could get the calendar sorted and race in some sensible places.

And get rid of the has-beens Muller and Tarquini, as well as the has-never-been-never-will-be Chilton.

An update to this:

2002
13. Aaron Slight - 32 pts
15. Chilton - 14 pts

2003
3. Matt Neal - 148 pts
5. Alan Morrison - 125 pts
9. Chilton - 70 pts

2004
5. Neal - 181 pts (customer team)
8. Dan Eaves - 148 pts (customer team)
9. Chilton - 116 pts (works team)

2005
5. Chilton - 175 pts (a bit of an outlier this one, no team mate to compare to and he actually finished ahead of Turkington & Collard despite missing 2 events)

2006
5. Fabrizio Giovanardi - 163 pts
7. Chilton - 139 pts
8. Gavin Smith - 123 pts (also a rich-daddy driver like Chilton)
26. Erkut Kizilirmak - 0 pts (only 2 events)

2007
1. Giovanardi - 300 pts
9. Chilton -130 pts
15. Alain Menu - 13pts (only 1 event)

2008
7. Gordon Shedden - 144 pts
10. Chilton - 107 pts

2009
13. Chilton - 55 pts
21. Tom Onslow-Cole - 4 pts (only 4 events)
24. Morrison - 2 pts (first 4 events only, equalled Chilton's score until that point)

2010
4. Onslow-Cole - 200 pts
5. Chilton - 191 pts

2011
7. Chilton - 135 pts
13. Onslow-Cole - 61 pts (only 6 events as team-mates, only scored 30 points less in that period)
18. Andy Neate - 15 pts (no achievement here, a brain-dead chimp could beat him)

2012
20. James Nash - 12 pts
22. Chilton - 7 pts

2013
1. Muller - 431 pts (de-facto works team)
3. Nash - 226 pts (customer team)
5. Chilton - 213 pts (de-facto works team)

2014
7. Tom Coronel - 159 pts (scored nothing at Marrakech and completely missed Paul Ricard)
8. Chilton - 150 pts
