I think we can now rate the race.
Obviously it was better than previous dry races. Still, only a few passes and not that much action despite intermediate conditions.
7/10

Before the accident, I thought it was a superb race. Or, before Lewis took command at least. Epic fight, best Merc fight of the year.

8. Some amazing moves from the RedBulls, and the Mercedes battle was top-notch. The battle to get in overtaking position was 1989-scale there, and the wet track gave it some sense of dread and impending danger I had not experienced in F1 for a while. I shivered when Lewis almost lost it at high speed in T1.

7 - we saw some good battles, but in the wet I was expecting more driver errors and unfortunately had that crash

anyway, apart from the crash everything was ok

Didn't particularly like it, it didn't have the action I was hoping for. Except THE crash ofcourse but I ignore it for the rating

I think 7 is a fair score. It was entertaining for the most part and lots of little incidents (eg changes of steering wheels at mclaren) and some nice overtakes.

Also, got really interesting when the rain started falling harder with many drivers on different tyres. Unfortunately, that's when "the" crash happened.

This is how I feel also.

I think the crash, for obvious reasons overshadowed a magnificent drive by lewis. In the end once he pulled off that brave move he waa 2 seconds a lap quicker than his team mate.
Unless nico has said he had a problem that I missed in the fall out there's really no excuse for being that slow in equal equipment.

And the red bulls were handy too, both put in great moves but especially danny's were sublime, once again proving he is the best overtaker on track.

And a nice shout out for button. If this is his final season then I'm glad he got to show off his wet weather cannyness once again.

Overally a great race that for obvious reasons will never be remembered as such
7/10

I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the overtaking by the Red Bulls, especially Ricciardo's. Also the fight between Rosberg and Hamilton and different other fights. Button's performance was great to watch as well.

8 from me.
