The Spanish TV has shown some footage with the crash. I think I'll be able to catch it but not sure. They're moving.

The fact that he still is alive is absolutely unbelievable.

Jesus. That's horrendous. Had to shut my eyes the first time I watched it. Awful.

Just like Wheldon hit that pole head first, incredible he is still alive. You can also see the FOM cameraman caught it.

That's even worse than I thought it would be. That he is said to be critical but stable is quite astonishing really. Are those medical cars normally situated around the circuit, or was it sheer chance that had them so close?

i would put a much bigger warning cause this is the real deal, most of the picture before was just aftermath or not much clear angles but this is truly shocking and massive.

you can't not notice the amount of bad luck and good luck mixed togheter. Bad luck cause the truck was actually leaving the track and moving, so the chance to hit it were lower.
good luck cause no marshall has been hit, and you can clearly look at the one holding the cable struggling and totally oblivious to anything else around me, a total sitting duck.
and good luck cause if he just hit a meter on the left getting stuck under the tractor instead of sliding on his back that would have been an instant fatality, now at least we have still hope this come to a good end.

You have to respect how professional the marshal is.
Visual check > Radio > Hand Signal

And everybody try to signal the tower to stop the race, call an ambulance.
