lol yes I know ;)

F1 is elite sport, but should not be elitist. The structure of the sport is broken. Yes there shouldn't be teams like Andrea Moda or Monteverdi. But teams of actual racers and people who have built their lives and careers around motorsport should be enabled to race and have a sporting chance in F1. To see the likes of Manor Motorsport, Arrows and Jordan struggle to maintain the minimum needed to race every weekend, go bankrupt or sell the team to protect the employees is unacceptable when you consider the obscene amounts of revenue and opulence that goes on within F1.

The problem now is that there's no incentive for a junior formula powerhouse - the likes of ART, DAMS or Carlin - to have a crack at Formula 1. They only have to look at how difficult Manor has found it - and starting a team now would be just as hard, if not harder, than in 2010.

I agree to an extent the whole 'if you can't stand the heat' argument, but at a recent F1 Strategy meeting, one top team principal formed that particular approach, citing the number of teams who have come and gone. Lower team representative replied that F1 used to not think anything of killing off drivers, but decided that was wrong - now need to do the same with the teams. He has a point.

It kinda feels like Bernie is holding on to a very big bag of food all teams have helped to gather but only gives a few enough food to stay strong enough to gather some more food for themselves but let the weaker one's starve and hold on to the food for himself.

Things will not get better when teams have to field 3 cars.

Bernie should at least give away track sponsorship to track owners, give a chance to seek other sponsors before allowing the regulars UBS/Fly Emirates/Rolex signs

For real? Blimey, what about Monaco or other street circuits?

Cautions will breed cautions for sure.

- A number of new regulations for the noses to ensure improved safety and to provide more aesthetically pleasing structures.

who's willing to put a fiver on it that they'll find a way to fuck this one up also and we end up with something hideous yet again?

Hopefully it's a same rule for GP2 & GP3:

x10 or until there are no cars left.
Then someone gets hurt and then they ban standing starts altogether.

the main argument for junior formulas will be "that will teach young drivers to be more responsible when racing in pack"

but they don't look like responsible for doing all these restrictions to F1

As ever, F1 doesn't fix its problems - such as debilitating financial issues and a lack of young people becoming interested in the sport - but instead comes up with another fucking stupid regulation that leaves its current fans baffled and non-race fans pointing and laughing.

They need to stop making so many changes every year. The sport needs to evolve itself, not come up with retarded ideas on a monthly basis.

Just read the news about standing restarts...
F1 heading directly to self destruct. I dont understand why cant they see that its dangerous..
Whats wrong with how it is now behind SC???

First the double points shit, then this. Whats next??
Jump ramps for extra bonus points?

Anyway WEC is getting popuilar and popuilar..
By 2020 they will be the pinnacle on motorsport and not F1, cuz the little that is good they will destroy...
I see manny F1 drivers following Webber, or going back to GP2..

F1

It could cease to exist tomorrow and I wouldn't be remotely fussed.

Wouldn't be surprised to see this happen. Bernie doesn't have the power anymore to fuck the WEC in the same way he fucked the WSC and Indycar.

Man, I wish Randy was still in charge of Indycar. He'd be all over this opportunity like a tramp on chips. Miles is good but has zero vision.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
