He was. I assume he must have gotten stuck behind someone after his first pitstop because he was running around with Jenson and the FIF1s before that.

Wasn't that far behind when Kimi spun. Button had just jumped Kimi in the previous stop and Mags was running behind the Ferrari until that moment. Last stop, Mags seemed to run a lot longer then Button did and should really have had better tyres. Guess we'll find out if he had an issue or not.

3 grid spot penalty for Chilton for causing the 1st lap crash.

Very light penalty for Chilton imo. It's not going to make much difference to him anyway since he usually starts near the back.

The true farce today is Williams.
They could have won that race so easily, but they:
-fucked up Massa's first stop (7 seconds)
-brought him in a second time , maybe it would have been worth to risk it as Rosberg and Perez would have hold the others up
-crashed

But also, Vettel defended really well to Massa being on fresher tires.
It's just.. Put Hamilton, Vettel or Alonso in that car and they could have won

No, no, no!!!!

Please, you will have to assume Massa did a horrible job today....explain to me why he couldn't overtake Vettel? What was that? So many chances to dive inside and he insisted in the outside....then Vettel did on Perez what Massa didn't have balls to to, dive in the inside to pass on turn 14.

I'll repeat, this car in hands of another driver, story would be different.

Without any further penalties, likely grid order at the back
Bianchi
Caterham
Caterham
Chilton

Any penalty points as well. I would say one is worth of one point then.

You're right, but the team didn't do a good job either. Bad strategy together with drivers who cannot take out everything of the car can't achieve a win, as Justin Time pointed out

Why is everyone focusing on Perez? As Perez moves slightly left Massa moves significantly right. Perhaps he was caught out by an early braking Perez but that was Massa driving into the back of someone.

Also: Williams should have gave team orders to Bottas to let Massa pass. Massa would probably easily pass Hulkenberg, and had more laps to pass the Red Bulls.

Yeah, Massa should have won here.

About Williams car, what is clear to me now is that you can't blame this car anymore after this weekend. This weekend I had a strong feeling that this car delivers what it promises, at least in parts. Of course Montreal circuit helped a lot, but you have a promising equipment in hands.

I'm pretty sure this is an optical illusion. If you look at his front right wheel in relation to Vettel's rear left, there's little variance between the lines. Massa stays to the left of Vettels line throughout, but Perez' first jink to the left happens in the transition from right to braking zone. Maybe Massa was tucking back in behind? It's all irrelevant, because Perez pulled to the left anyway.

Massa may not be the best Brazilian driver ever, but the level of OMG SUCKZ is a bit pathetic tbh. Imagine if every British driver had to be compared against Jim Clark to be accepted...

Just seen the race and what a race.

And Chilton and Massa showed (again) what utter amateurs they are today. Pathetic.

there was plenty of space in the left side, but Perez should've seen that Massa was faster

It was the last lap. Perez merely held a straighter line toward turn one. Massa's lack of anticipation was utterly horrendous. Pathetically amateur.

That's just not true. You must not change lines in braking zones, that's what the rule is. Perez changed his line, massa had no reason to expect him to swerve to the left. If Perez wanted to cover the corner, he should have moved sooner
