Yeah, avoid the third like the plague. But 1 and 2 are must see.

I watched the first Smokey & the Bandit film again a couple of weeks ago. It's fine, I would call it light entertainment.

The Godfather, on the other hand, is an excellent film. So is Part 2.

So Kurt's just gonna rock up to the Indy 500 as his first race and expect to do well? Wouldn't it be a good idea to compete in one open wheel race beforehand? You can't complete the double if you knock yourself unconscious in a type of racing you've never experienced before.

On the other hand, this isn't like any other race with 2 practice sessions on a friday, qualy on a saturday, race on Sunday

Kurt's case is one of a few examples where running around that track for a whole month in spec cars is actually justified.

I can't for the life of my understand why people still record with their phones upright. :?

You can't see shit, and holding it sideways isn't rocket surgery. FYI.

Look at the kind of people in the videos though. The very fact that they can even operate a mobile phone in the first place is an overachievement itself.

In the "You may have heard it, but probably didn't/don't care department"...

The fall Nationwide race at Bristol will now be extended to 300 laps instead of 250.

I was just talking about the people in the vids, based on their behavior. I don't know or care where they're from.

Also, I'm fully aware of Kentucky's reputation. Another thing about which I give no fucks.

Louisville isn't a bad place. At least you have Kentucky Kingdom. Eastern Kentucky is a shithole however. Lol.

Kentucky Kingdom has been closed for years (though I think it is being reopened this summer or next).

Shit. Did not know that! I think the last time I was there though was 2007 or 2008.
