The FIA wouldn't allow that, even if he did have a transwarp module, no one-off driver substitutes remember ;)

Aw man, teleportation would make "the double" so much easier, and the Indy 500 would even be that much more epic!! There's no way Stewart, Allmendinger and a bunch of others wouldn't want to at least give it a shot.

It would even make "the triple" a reality, even though FIA rules (apparently) wouldn't allow it.

Teleportation will likely never be a thing in our lifetimes, but a guy can still dream.

I think if teleportation existed, it'd less mean our favourite drivers could make the big three and more that the sport was rendered obsolete overnight.

Chevy and Honda gave the ok a month ago apparently. Andretti and Kurt just had to nail down the logistics and the ok from Haas and to a lesser extent, Stewart.

Great but who's going to play the Snowman? Frog? Buford T. Justice?

So Kurt's just gonna rock up to the Indy 500 as his first race and expect to do well? Wouldn't it be a good idea to compete in one open wheel race beforehand? You can't complete the double if you knock yourself unconscious in a type of racing you've never experienced before.

Prepare to be disappointed with the choices.

Apparently this was taped last April.....I can't believe this has been kept under wraps since there. 8O

Remember people bitching on Twitter about FOX's new scoring box for this year? I made it the old school way, which takes up much less space and isn't in the middle of the screen:

They should have just gone with the way ESPN had it in the late 90s. Abbreviated last names and a small box like OldAsphalt's suggestion.

I consider myself to be a movie-lover, but to my great shame, I have never seen The Godfather.

However, it is with even greater shame that I go on the record in saying that I've never seen any of the Smokey and the Bandit movies. :(

This must change!

First two are essential. May wanna take care of Cannonball Run and Stroker Ace if you want a good Burt Reynolds project.

Stay far away from part 3.....maybe one of the worst movies ever made. Snowman plays Bandit....it's such a trainwreck.

I was looking at IMDB, and yeah, it looks like 1 and 2 are the ones to watch... Stroker Ace and Cannonball run, as well. Haven't looked at them too deeply, but I know there's a smattering of NASCAR cameos in all those movies, isn't there?

I also saw a Kenny Rogers racing movie at the DVD store the other day. Not so sure about that one.

I assume you're talking about "Six Pack". It's delightfully mediocre.
