The best part was watching Ricky and how awkward he was during the whole thing.

I laughed more at the Cat Skid Steer.....shiyyttttt Video tbh :p

Glad it's not Bestwick in the Booth, guy's like Ned Flanders to me, only if he gave up the church and replaced it with obsessive compulsive NASCAR devotion instead.

The jokes weren't funny, being predictable stereotyping. But boy did I laugh (no pun intended).

I think Jeff Burton will do well in the booth. You can tell in his interviews that he knows his stuff and he has a good voice for TV, I think. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being a similar announcer to Dale Jarrett.

i wish they'd get his brother ward in there. his accent kills

I've said it once and I'll say it again and again, I wanna see Ward in the booth with Sterling Marlin for a race. The guy writing the closed captions would probably lose his shit trying to figure out what they were saying.

The Kahne and Newman dig was hilarious. The rest has all been heard before, mostly here.

Bestwick is terrible when it comes to him wishing for cautions and his "stats" that imply one is coming soon after a long green run.

See 44:38 for the caution though. A little more than a minute after the prediction. Not bad!

NBC Bestwick > ESPN Bestwick > Rick Allen

NBC used to be good at going through the field during a race and having a caution interrupt them. Almost without fail. Anyone else remember that?

You just knew Finch couldn't stay away....

Quote:
Finch plans to enter a car in Daytona 500: Former #51 Phoenix Racing team owner James Finch told Brad Gillie and Buddy Baker on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio's The Late Shift that he plans to enter a car in the 2014 Daytona 500.(listen at Soundcloud/SiriusXM). Finch will use a car from his old team, Phoenix Racing, now owned by Harry Scott Jr.. No word on a driver or what car number Finch will use.(12-10-2013)

Buying back half his fleet, and runnin the big races wouldn't surprise me AT ALL. Racing is in his blood no doubt.

How many times did he "threaten" to quit in the last few years? I'm going to say that at least three times since '09 or so, Finch said "that's it, if I don't find a sponsor in the next two weeks, I'm shutting this team down". Then, after he actually goes and sells his team, he's coming back for more.

I'm not criticizing him, because like Underdogfan says, racing is most definitely in his blood, but I am most certainly getting a kick out of it.

Kinda like that Chappelle's Show P. Diddy\Making the Band skit. "I'm shuttin' the studio down... unless you can get me the breast milk of a Cambodian immigrant."

Marketing ploy, nothing more or less. ACA's suck anyways, Luke Bryan won male artist of the year. If you don't know who he is, just think the most generic beer drinking on a tailgate in the woods song you can think and that's him.

Alex Bowman will be testing the 83 today in place of Reutimann. With one top 20 in 36 starts, wouldn't be surprised to see Reutty get the boot for another rookie candidate.
