Ugh, Rick Allen is terrible. He over hypes shit so much. In fact, the whole Truck series crew does. They suck.

Why the talk about Mike Joy? Is he leaving or something? or is there nothing else to talk about?

I thought I was the only one who thought that.

Anyway, I'm definitely hoping that between the Speed changeover to Fox Sports 1 and the fact that NBCSN isn't on my current cable package (not sure of its general availability up here), that people north of the border will be able to watch the majority of next year's races.

Well the good thing for Canada is nothing is changing for next year. It'll be 2015 when the changes happen.

Not leaving at all. I had just been thinking about how long Joy has been in the sport (on TV since the early 80's, and on MRN Radio long before that) and kinda wondered how much he still had in the tank.

Joy has a lot still in the tank. He's been one of the best play by play guys, sucks he's had shitty guys with him. look back at his CBS/TNN days, phenomenal. Sucks that his only hiccup was the call of Dales 98 Daytona win was the Rick Mast deal. Dude is class. Joy for first half and Bestwick 2nd half is money. Love this new TV deal if NBC takes Allen back.

I'd much rather not get yelled at on every fucking start/restart when watching Cup races, thank you very much...

Ridicules member for trying to inject random humor into thread. Calls said member boring. The irony is delicious, and ends up becoming quite funny itself. Hats off to you, sir!

I forgot you were a comedian, my apologies, funny man, ill leave the humour to you from now on...
Maybe you should post your hash tags on your faggot twitter account, telling people how hilarious you are.

I never even noticed Rick Allen's many prahblems before it was pointed out. Overall, I've always liked his commentary.

They weren't #'s. They were /'s. One's in the spirit of Twitter, like you seemed to imply, the other is in the spirit of changing the format to italics or bold, or whatever. I neglected to include the [], however. Read my post again, and loosen your panties a bit.

...and this is TBK. Everyone here is a comedian. Most of the time inadvertently and completely unbeknownst to them, of course, but comedians nonetheless.

I still watch the finish of that game on YouTube once a week. I still rank that up there as the best March Madness game I've ever seen.

99.9% of the soccer Gus has called has been terrible, but then you have the finish of the FA Cup, which is brilliant.

Tony Stewart's shitty luck in winged sprints continues:
Quote:
SPEED Center ‏@SPEEDCenter 15min
Tony Stewart limps from crashed sprint car, taken by stretcher to ambulance, talking to responders, say witnesses at Southern. Iowa Speedway

SPEED Center ‏@SPEEDCenter 13min
(More) Stewart was leading the ASCS race in Oskaloosa for 360 c.i. winged sprint cars

SPEED Center ‏@SPEEDCenter 12min
(More) crash comes days after Stewart told reporters at Pocono that sprint car flips happen all the time and are usually no big deal

Kenny Wallace ‏@Kenny_Wallace 14min
BAD BAD and Very sad year for Dirt Winged Sprint Cars, I hope and pray my friend Tony Stewart does NOT have anything broken?

RacingDaily ‏@Racing_Daily 14min
Tony Stewart is being transported to a local hospital for further observation, but we want to stress he was AWAKE and ALERT.

Hopefully he's alright after all this, but maybe it's a sign that he should stop racing sprints.

Heard it from a guy who heard it from a guy, but...
Since I've read some tweets about it, Jerry was told by an official that Tony Stewart has a compound fracture in his leg... Yikes!!

Just read he's out for the Glen, at the very least. No word yet on who'll replace him.
