You mean the GP2 and GP3 where they use Pirelli tyres?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I'll usually stick up for Pirelli, but they've fucked up. Could be the final nail in the coffin with regards to them still being here next year.

How have Pirelli fucked up?

The drivers are fucking up because they won't stop running over the kerb.

The track has fucked up because they put those kerbs in in the first place.

Kerbs have been on race tracks for a fair while now, Pirelli should be able to build tyres that can handle them.

Wasn't Silverstone the race in which 'upgrades' were expected from Pirelli after all the criticism?

There is clearly something different about the kerbs on the inside of Aintree corner.

We've had 5 hours of running with zero issues except for a cut one, which was different. Suddenly we've had 3 failures in 15 laps all on the same corner. What has changed?

Not to defend Pirelli, but they DID want to change tyre and were told no. And now we're at a high load circuit and there's failures.

If it's both compounds and rear left each time then presumably it's something on a kerb that's causing the damage. Best thing would be to get people checking them.

Brundle reporting that Pirelli wanted to change the tyre wall but teams bitched and moaned. So is it all Pirelli?

They think there is something wrong with the Curbs.

Vergne had his tyre gone in a different Place then Lewis and Massa

Did anyone do any long stints in practice? I know Perez had a failure, but something is wrong if it's only happening this badly now.

Could it be a pressure or camber thing (if its not the kerbs)

Is Rubens commentating in Brazil now?

Yes. Some races he comments, the others are commentated by Burti.

They don't mean a kerb, but an edge on a kerb that's damaged or sharp. The fact it's all LR and all at once suggests this is not a proper wear issue otherwise it'd have happened during other sessions too.

Not defending Pirelli, just trying to introduce a discussion that isn't just shouting and swearing at Pirelli.

I would guess that they did not run over that kerb frequently during practice, and no-one was out long enough during qualifying for the problem to manifest itself.
