MotoGP top 3 has become so predictable. Bring back Rossi domination period.

Marquez isn't done. He and Pedrosa are going to crash.

Maybe because my favourites are sucking hard, but I'm starting to like Marquez. He's an refreshing addition.

Are you kidding me??

MotoGP is such a refreshingly nice place without this sulky, whinging, obnoxious prick around. Many people inside and outside the paddock have noticed and made this observation.

It is a shame to have lost a great talent, but not the person who went with it.

Plus we've got a fascinating championship battle between three Spaniards. You can't ask for much more.

Well, I dunno.. while it's true he was all that, as a race fan that's not concerned with how much better life is around the paddock, I just want as much talent on the grid as possible and yes, a bit of diversity too. Having an international series dominated by one nationality is a turn-off no matter how close the championship is between them.

I don't care about the nationality, as long as the racing is good. And that it has been in 2013. 2013 has been far from predictable and boring.

Stoner was bad for MotoGP. Pure and simple.

Well, having Stoner in the mix would have made the racing even better, would it have not?

Stoner the talent, yes.

Stoner the man, no.

Sadly for MotoGP and its fans, the latter came with the former and that was a turn off for many people.

Well I want more variation. You don't have much to chose nowadays except for those 3. I hope Rossi will step up his game but this season that probably won't happen. Ducati has been shit without Stoner, and any progress seems far away. Suzuki won't be a contender next year I think.

I'm not a Stoner fan (definitely not...) but some more variations wouldn't be bad. We don't need a harmonious championship, we need battles on and off the track. A little drama makes it so much more fun too watch IMO (Rossi vs. Biaggi, Rossi vs. Gibernau and so you can go on).

I'm sure that when Audi will open up their wallet he might consider going back.

You see, I don't get this. So far in 2013 we've had exciting race after exciting race with intense battles at the very front (at almost every race) between three of the best riders in the business. And yet people are unhappy?

Some people are never happy and will always moan about tiny insignificant things.

Indeed. And there's a lot of irony in some of these posts about Stoner, considering the recent conversation about Vettel in the F1 thread.

I'm sure ellis would pick up on that too.

Battles? Lorenzo overtook Pedrosa in the first corner and never gave it away. There was only one attempt at overtaking in the op 3 by Marquez, but you can hardly call that a battle. Just as most of the 2013 races we haven't seen any battles this season. It's mostly 1 overtake and than they disappear in the distance.

Ah well good thing BSB was on telly, at least one entertaining race today.

So you missed this section of my post then....?

2013 has been great, a lack of overtakes doesn't necessarily mean that the battles are not intense or not entertaining. This year has been far better (so far) than 2011 and 2012 combined.

Although Spanish riders will win every race probably, at least its going to go right to the end, no-one is dominating and they're all so even.
