Shit would really have to hit the fan. Pretty sure Gordon accomplished what he wanted to yesterday, and the only retaliation would come from Bowyer... which is asinine, because his was coming for a while.

I'm assuming, from a logical standpoint, that if shit hits the fan and Gordon goes crazy next week resulting from some Bowyer revenge plot, they could park him for next year's Daytona 500, right?

That's what I was questioning yesterday, when they say Probation, they don't say what the penalty is for infraction.
So you could go apeshit in the last race and not really get any penalty, depending what the suspended penalty is in the first place.

On the few occasions we've had to put someone on probation in the league, we've always stated what the penalty is for another infraction during the probation period, like a 1 race ban or whatever.

It always makes me laugh when NASCAR put drivers on probation cos of this. It's like saying to a 4 year old "behave or else" cos eventually they're eventually going to ask "what's the else?" once they grow some balls

With No probations handed out from Phoenix, what are the odds we see Bowyer and Jeff go after it again?

The penalties were just handed down and Jeff Gordon got probation but Bowyer didn't.

I must've missed that on the SPEED post on facebook.

I see. For a second there, I though NASCAR would just ban Gordon from going to the awards banquet.

Well only the top ten actually get to go on stage, and with that penalty Gordon will have to race his way in from 11th.

Of course, now that I read that back...who gives a fuck?

I've been a big fan of Tony Stewart. I've supported Tony Stewart since he debuted in Cup. That being said I am far more excited and nervous and this year for Keselowski than I ever was rooting for Smoke in 2011, 2005, and 2002.

Call me horrible but I really hope the Dillon's hit trouble early this week, I really dislike those two for some reason.

You're horrible. Except for the fact I feel the same way.

I think a lot of us are horrible then.

I am equally horrible, but as much of a sour taste as it left in my mouth, I was on Austin's side after the dustup with Denny at Texas.

I'm completely ignorant here. Why do people dislike the Dillons? I don't know enough about them to have an opinion.

I've never been a huge fan of Childress drivers in general, so for me in particular, it's nothing personal. :)

Austin demanded to have the 3 on his car. He's so full of himself.
