How about Imola?

Just kidding.

Seriously now...I would like to see them go to Hermanos Rodriguez.

It's a spectacular slope, but there are more challenging ways to include it in a track (blind crest in a mid-high speed corner, downhill braking,...). As it is, it just shortens the braking zone (as if F1 needed that!).

As expected, Felix da Costa and Frijns will get a Red Bull in the Abu Dhabi test.

Oh look, people moaning about a circuit's design even after two years of knowing what it would look like. Woo hoo...

I think it's not too bad. very technical and the sweeps in section one look interesting.

Great for Frijns, I hope this will be the last step to a seat next year.

He'll need to find a bag full of cash first. He doesn't really have any connections and, if Red Bull isn't convinced enough in the test to snap him up, he'll most likely end up as Sauber's reserve driver.

The issue for Frijns is that he won't want to go back to FR3.5 again and GP2 is too expensive and risky nowadays. So he's kind of at a 'here I am, look what I've won' stage of his career where he can't do the junior series again.

Frijns is not going to pay for an F1-seat... So he's going to do it on talent

Trying to get into F1 without money or the support of a young driver scheme?

Enjoy that sportscar career then.

Yes, that's gonna be very difficult.

Well, first he needs to prove himself to Red Bull and Sauber

Well, Frijns better rapes the track record in both the Red Bull and the Sauber then if he wants a drive in F1....

It would have been more pertinent to moan while it was still on a blueprint and not a single car had run it?
It's not like our opinion would have mattered at any stage of the design.

When Alx Danielsson won WSBR in 2006 his career came to a dead end. Hasn't done a full season in anything since then, despite getting a F1 test with Renault. Betting that Frijns is up to the same thing?

No, Frijns is better than that. He has opportunities with Red Bull and Sauber. Teams know a talented driver usually within an hour of the test, so it's a big opportunity for him.
