Actually, Sepang is my favorite Tilke track. Turkey comes second. Where will Austin lie in my ranking ? We'll see next month !

And COTA is by far the best track Tilke had produced so far, theres lots of corner types, gradient, overtaking places and most importantly, its a challenge for the drivers and there should be lots of mistakes

Judging the track before a single shred of rubber has been dropped on the road is a stupid statement to make.

Remember how people raved about the Valencia track design before that race was run in 2008?

I still like Valencia. I know a lot don't, but the third section of the track is fantastic. And it can produce better races than Barcelona and Hungary, but we still get subjected to them every year.

So there was no issues at COTA regarding garage size. The teams were discussing allocation being different to normal with Charlie. And Will Buxton made the rest up.

Good job Will.

I retweeted it because it was from an F1 journalist with big US connections.

But he's not a paragon of reliability and it's poor from him. Maybe if he spent more time researching things rather than being "Woo beer" or "Woo dancing", then he'd have some more credibility.

Yeah I've unfollowed him now. I'm not his biggest fan but I've always respected him, and I think he does an excellent job in GP3 and GP2 commentary, especially given he's on his own. But those tweets were really very poor.

I have always thought Will Buxton was a tosser, judging by his pit commentary on SPEED alone. New age James Allen (when he was at his worst).

Oh he is a little bit. I like his style of commentary and some of the paddock stuff is funny, but as a person he comes across as a pillock, slightly.

Reminds me of when he made it sound like last years German race wasn't going to be able to take place over something he hyped to be a massive issue that was again nothing.
He's good on the GP2/GP3 but his actual journalism leaves a bit to be desired.

Indeed

I'm not a fan of that circuit but it was still very good.

Technically Jenson was ahead of Lewis today so has no need to follow him

Seriously, I'm as much of a Twitter Cheerleader as anyone but its people who take it that seriously who give all the fuel to the "Twitter is SHIT OMG who cares if you had toast for breakfast" kind of haters of it.
And then the media making a big drama over "Twitter spats" because its easier for them to read tweets rather than pick up the phone and investigate stories makes the whole thing ten times worse.

It's just a social media site, Lewis, Jenson will still talk to you in real life, maybe he's just tired of the whiny self-involved bullshit you put up there.

Though apparently as I type that we're finding out Jenson never followed Lewis anyway....

And I doubt Jenson runs his own Twitter account anyway...

I'm going to be unpopular here, but Abu Dhabi is probably my second favourite Tilke circuit after Sepang. I always found Istanbul unappealing.

In other news, @LewisHamilton griped @JensonButton unfollowed him. Then found out Button never followed him to begin with. #F1Problems
