According to his Twitter, I amused him in a photography related tweet ... another reason for me to like the man.

I'd say Hildebrand deserves some ice cream for that impersonation.

Errr, guyss....there's a storm brewing.

Robin Miller's reporting that the team owners are banding together to place a bid for taking over the running of the series themselves, away from IMS...

*sigh* As great as CART was before TG ruined it (yeah, I'm sticking with that, leave it), this isn't 1979 all over again.

CART's gone guys, and coming from me that's a big statement.

You'll just spend so long infighting to get a competitive advantage to put the good of the series first.
We can all see it. Hell you probably can see it too you, its just you don't want to be the first one to back out of it....

(Unless they've found a neutral party to act as Bernie and put the good of the sport first (IE the money) But that's doubtful.
Hell they'll probably just put Mario in charge as a figurehead for interviews and continue their infighting )

Until I see more sources on this I won't get too worried tho...

I will stick with Randy Bernard.

We have seen what the teams wants. Standard cars with cost as low as possible. Yeah that is cool for the teams but that wil make people lose interest in the series, I think.

It's finally picked up and they want to ruin it all over again? Are the teams really that stupid?

Weren't some of the teams demanding DeltaWang?

Yes, because it's their car.

Let them go. Let them run their own series. Let them run the DeltaWing. Let them run it into the ground within 5 years as they always do.

And then when they come crawling back, don't make the same mistake that Tony George made. Tell them to fuck off.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

The teams need to shut up & compete in the series as entrants.

For his lack of knowledge & experience in MotorSport, Randy Bernard has thus far done a great job at taking Indycar in the right direction & I trust Indycar's future in his hands more than I would any of the teams.

We have a car thats produced great racing on every type of circuit, Officials that actually seem to know what there doing, A decent schedule that looks like its only going to get better & people at the top who seem to be trying to do whats best for the series as a whole rather than just whats best for themselfs or 1-2 big teams.

The biggest problem is that I suspect the teams involved don't actually give a damn about what the Indycar fans think & with that attitude if they were in charge the series would stand no chance of growing.
