I hope the weather will be better tomorrow.

If it rains then Davidson will win all on his own.

After all, we know he is the best driver in the world, and he personally specifically designed the Honda RA106 to be excellent in wet weather conditions to give them their first victory in 2006.

Tipping it down right now. Was meant to go meet Marv and Brenden but I'm not swimming there lol.

Wouldn't mind a shower in the race, but this is too wet.

Supposedly JCB has said the Pesca 03 is too scary and has pulled out. Anyone got more info?

Confirmed by a tweet by DSC. "Unhappy with Pescarolo 03 after practice shunt" writes Graham Goodwin. I don't know if they have a reserve driver.

Isn't there a preliminar race today? Or all the other races are on Saturday aswell?

LMP2 Lotus... probably still a lot of Lola in it?

Well there's no Lola in that because that's an Audi. Thats literally identical to the R18, right down to the end plates. All they've done is photoshopped a livery over it, and reshaped the headlights whilst doing it. If lotus released that then Audi are going to sue them to high hell.

Edit: even better that's Daniel Simons stuff. That's an R18 model with a lotus livery slapped on, and it's miles out of the tech regs. So yeah, not a lotus, lol.

It's a shame, the Aston Martin race is getting some good publicity (certainly more than that Ferrari race last year, which I didn't hear about until I switched over to Motors randomly about a lap before someone went skywards...), yet no-one seems bothered showing it.
Will be lucky if they turn the cameras on it tbh

Oh well, I'm sure our intrepid crew at the track will let us know if anything dramatic happens.

Oh and Ellis, I'm sure you've probably learned this already but just to be sure, JCB's official reason for pulling out of the Pescorolo is that he has a rib injury from an accident in practice.
Whether you believe that or not, who knows, but yeah, that's what they're putting out there.

As for the rain, I hope it isn't a complete deluge, would like a nice dry start then a few showers over the course of the 24 hours, not just a complete soaking as we're apparently suffering in England this weekend....

And the race itself? Hoping for a safe race, competitive and that all crashes are injury free and near TV cameras, for a change ;)

Ah yes Paul, that 'once in a 50 year storm' that is currently so violent, I can't see outside because of the brightness of the sun

Anyway, today! Yes :D

Sucks to be at the track right now ;)

Is it possible to see a delay of the start, has that ever happened before? That is if the downfall is really bad at start-a-clock.

That race director radio is starting to annoy me.
