Well I can't imagine the step down in fame and prestige has done much for his ego. That and he probably hates ovals.

Sauber CEO Monisha Kaltenborn receives a third of the stake in the Sauber Group. Now there's a payday!

And this just days after he told the media that Ferrari "threatened him" during the 2002 Austrian GP...

Ferrari should hire de la Rosa. Seriously. :)

I guess Massa could drive for HRT and he wouldn't be too far from his recent pace.

No point in replacing Massa with a 2011 departee ... with no testing, in a difficult car, they're hardly likely to do any better than Felipe. And I think we all agree that putting Perez in the car mid-season would be a mistake ...

Yup. Just see how much better Fisi's '09 season became as soon as he joined Ferrari.

Just a question: does Lewis entirely rely on his own set up work ? Or does he still copy it from teammates like a few years ago?

If he was copying from Jenson he'd be up shit creek by now.

I think McLaren do a lot of their work in the factory and on the simulator and then try and copy it on the track.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Gary Paffett does a hell of a lot of simulator work.

I can vaguely remember that during the British Grand Prix (it was either 2010 or 2011), they had a new front wing that they couldn't get to work on the Friday. Paffett did basically a whole night of testing in Woking in the simulator and it improved it hugely for Saturday.

2010 I think it was ... essentially did what Gary Sinese's character does in Apollo 13, except in Woking ...

I have done some research, read some articles and - perhaps - jumped to some assumptions.
