Yea def looks plain as day that Biffle dragged the brakes.. think if he let it rip and sailed by Matt with Jr with 1 to go, it'd have come down to a dead heat between him and Jr or even a 3 way with Matt sneaking in with a late run. Oh well, that's racin, sometimes you just make bad decisions. Have to say this was one of the more amateurish speedweeks but for ARCA and Grand Am. Maybe NASCAR need to be a bad guy again and ban bump drafting in turns?

He'd also have Matt ripping into him again like he apparently did after Thursday.

Sounded like a boring race ? Except Montoya trying to make it more exciting by crashing into a jet dryer lol

Usually I'm asleep by about lap 100, lap 50 on night races and tonight I didn't fall asleep, so it was good for me...

Tandem would have had 100 lead changes.

I think going to bed at 3:30am was a good bet after all.

Seems to be that I'm quite glad I went to bed when I did, didn't miss much.
I knew I hadn't missed much when I saw the thread was only up to 151 pages lol.
Can't help thinking what sort of finish we would have had if that 'WTF' moment didn't happen.

Likewise. Apart from Monty's Inferno, I feel my decision that going to sleep wouldn't lead to me missing a classic was ultimately correct ...

Well, after Montoya's red flag I kept watching it for about 1h30, when NASCAR announced they'd restart the race, but then I had to sleep, more than 1 am, I knew that If I watched it till the end I wouldn't wake up in the morning, so thank you Montoya for ruining the race.

And Matt Kenseth winning, that's disappointing...nothing against him but I had other candidates in mind.

What a stupid c**t Biffle is, that was such a shit "race". glad I went to bed when JPM caught fire, and saved myself 3 hours.
Not what a Daytona 500 is all about, aside from a track blower blowing up, what was exciting about that race?
What a waste of time. fuck Biffle!!, will always be remembered as the little bitch that didnt...

Actually I thought the race on green flag was exciting and when we saw the yellow just before Montoya's wreck, there were all ingredients for a thrilling finish but unfortunately it wasn't the case.

I fucking knew it. I knew that if they started that race that lifeless motherfucker would win. Glad I didn't stay up for this bullshit.

I saw the whole ordeal from start to finish. I guess the first wreck got drivers tip-toeing but with 40 to go things started moving. It's obvious it could have turned for a say more entertaining finish, wasn't to be. I was a stunned as anyone when FOX cut back from commercials to see shot of torn up Toya Image

I had a feeling the ban on talking among other drivers was going to bite NASCAR in the ass.

You'd think that if Dale Jr knew by radio that Biffle had little to no intention on passing Kenseth, he would've backed off as soon as it was clear, hook up with Hamlin, make a big charge to the front, then settle it among themselves in typical tandem racing fashion.

Sorry for sounding like a hypocrite, but if any blame should be put on anyone, it's NASCAR and their continuing legacy of incompetence (as fucking usual).

I just knew people would bitch about the lack of tandeming. Bitch about it when it's there, bitch about it now that it's (sort of) gone.

It reminds me of how people bitched and moaned in 2001 about the package, and now people really want it back.
