Anyone see Andretti talking about his accident on the main Indycar youtube channel?

He thinks he flipped 11 times...maybe he doesn't remember the accident as well as he said he does!

I have just heard that Justin Wilson had a big crash and was taken to the hospital. Hope he isn't seriously injured.

Here's a tweet from Indycar:

"Medical update from Dr. Michael Olinger: Justin Wilson is awake & alert. He's being sent to Mansfield MedCentral for further evaluation."

The Autosport article makes the accident sound like it wasn't that big, just that it did something peculiar to his spine.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That's hardly surprising. One has to wonder why Sarah doesn't field a RC speciallist instead of Carpenter on the non-ovals.

Qual Groups:

Group 2 is much stronger.

You can't really see anything, but it looks like he never even hit anything. He just bounced through the grass really hard.

The car apparently ran over an adjoining crossroad, on the grass verge, and bottomed out heavily which may have caused Wilson to sustain a suspected back injury.

It can hurt if the shock goes straight to your back. He also sits lower then other drivers because of his height.
