You certainly wouldnn't want a brake failure going into turn 1 in an IndyCar..

Bet guys (or in this case girls) like Beatriz cannot wait for next years' car with onboard starter motors so they don't look like amateurs when the stall after a spin.

The parking lot for the West Edmonton Mall looks bigger than this. Maybe it'll be good for racing, but it doesn't look nearly as fast or as racy as the old circuit did.

Didn't buy a paddock or pitpass this year unfortunately and didn't spend very much time in the grandstand today (too cold & rainy) so just hung out there for a while to get some shots at the first & last corner. Hope to get some more tomorrow :)

I was just going to say that Chris. I am in a whole ton of the turn one photos. White hat, not shooting in the Sato shot.

Here is my image from that corner...

So, can Sato hold his nerve and challenge Power and Ganassi for the victory? I'm afraid he'll lose out during the stops regardless of what happens on the track. He needs a 2009 Edmonton-like race, no yellows during the entire distance and all green flag stops. Unlikely to happen methinks.

Is VS showing the cycling live? There's only 12 kms to go, so they will finish well before the Lights race starts.

Not in this track. They will be lucky to complete lap 1 under green.
