McNish got some time on the BBC Sportsday segment.

Why is it they only show motorsports stuff that isn't F1 or MotoGP when someone nearly dies?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Same reason McDowell got onto talk shows after his big crash at Texas: The "wow" factor.

They should just blow up the cars, tear down the data sheets and start from zero again. That might have been the worst factory car that ever entered the race.

It's the engine rather then the car itself.

The engine idea is terrible, but the chassis seems to be just as bad. They said themselves that their tyre temps were awfuly high despite them running awfuly slowly. I saw them racing and even in corners they looked like they were able to crash at any time.

Ironically, probably the previous worst factory team entry was Lola-Aston Martin in 1967 when all of their engines failed within a hour.

Aston Martin needs to go to a coupe. There is a reason Audi changed to a coupe.

Then they need to work on the engine.
