21 years today. Alonso on pole in Maylasia 2003 GP and Schumacher created the chaos at second corner with Trulli. Race won by Raikkonen, his first win.

Mad thing is, I remember discussing this race with people on the original TBK. That got me thinking - what was the first race I chatted about with people in the original board?

Was this one. Memorable, for all the wrong reasons.

22 years ago, though. I was 19 when I signed up for the forum. That’s made me feel old!

Blimey, is that a Ferrari T5 in the background? Am amazed all of those things weren't junked after the 1980 season!

20 years ago today, Trulli won his only race

It also resulted in one of the biggest what-if's - Schumacher was trying to win the race by not pitting and Montoya ran into the back of him. Would have been a Hungary 1998 like charge.

Then he was sacked a few months later after Barrichello passed him

Montoya ran into the back of him because he braketested him. That was 100% on Schumacher

The party started at that year Le Mans race. We were all worked up already when it was time for F1.
