Since nobody else has made a thread. Here it is. Daniel Dye won the pole for the truck race and Jesse Love IV became the first driver in Xfinity Series history to win the pole in each of his first two starts.

Lapper just saved a ton of trucks by keeping that thing low.

Eckes has no brakes, couldn't even stop in his box.

Yeah, that's a safety issue having no brakes like Eckes right now. Just look at how he basically rolled through his box at slower than walking pace.

New Atlanta was dumb from the start, but as the surface loses that initial grip from the fresh pavement, it’s become utterly one-groove. The only use for the bottom is to pass for the lead and IMMEDIATELY get back in line.

They’ve GOT to let all three series run this with the proper intermediate package ASAP.

I think Atlanta might be my least favourite track on the NASCAR schedule currently.

Might still be too fast for the insurance.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Given that NASCAR will never admit to any mistakes, what's gonna be their "save face" solution to how bad things have got?

More restrictive restrictor plates? More downforce? Another repave until it has exactly DEGA's dimensions?

They wanted a thirst restrictor plate track and it's blatently not happening, so now what?

These races are great to just watch it on mute while listening or doing something more useful.
