I'd be a bit frustrated if I was Perez. That Williams was too close in the final corner and probably caused the car to run wide in the dirty air.

If we are going to be stuck with tarmac run off though, this is absolutely the way they should be handling it. No grey area, if drivers don't like it they should drive better

And if there had been grass and gravel there he probably wouldn't have even lost time running that wide.

And this shitshow is the result. There is absolutely no reason not to have grass and gravel by the track there.

this is so nonsense that it makes more sense that give 5 laps for each driver and the one who gets within track limits gets pole

So on the onboard they look safe but then you see the outside view and they’re way over the line. No wonder they all mess up

Everyone knows what kind of shitshow the track limits will produce but still there is no camera to show the cars from an angle from which you can actually see whether they left the white line or not.

How will they enforce track limits tomorrow? Like in MotoGP, 5 strikes and you get a penalty?
Or will it be like Bahrain 2021, where they were strict in qualifying and didn´t care in the race, until they did care?

I dont know if they even have the official strikes number like in MotoGP? Remember the Bahrain race where Hamilton run over the kerbs 27 times and didn't get a warning but Verstappen was busted after running over 5 times? It's hard to keep up with the "show" Liberty is serving us so I wouldn't be surprised if there is no fixed rule how to deal with track limits in race trim and IF someone gets penalised it will be the minnows like Haas again most likely.

That's because the rule on the track limits at that spot were changed before the race. RB apparently missed that memo and complained, getting it changed mid race.

4 strikes. 3 gets you a B&W flag, 4th is a penalty.

talking about strikes, Verstappen is under threat because he impeded Magnussen during Q1, let's see if he uses home advantage
