Jesus, that flying tire scared the shit out of me. At that speed I shudder to think of the consequences if it landed in the grandstand. Thankfully it appears to have landed in some parked cars?

That aerial view was reassuring. There were people near where it ended up but it wasn’t crowded and it had already smashed into a car or something first anyway.

My eyes were completely on that wheel. Just hope it didn't hit anyone.

He wasn’t truly in enough trouble that other drivers could see until he whipped around on the apron. You could tell from Kirkwood’s onboard (which is higher than eye level) that it was hard to see there was any trouble until very late.

Yeah sorry edited my post after, that's right. Glad everyone ok

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If I was at the grandstand at that time I'd act just like in a plane crash, just brace for impact

that's why motosports will always be dangerous

Nope. All you can do is cool them.

Weird how he opened his visor when upside down but sparks going into your eyes is not the first thing in your mind.

No fuel, no tyres and no fixing damage. Done proper.

Didn’t it just open due to the forces of the crash?
