Mazepin is such a wanker lmao

Awesome lap by Max and what an awesome atmosphere on the track. I can only imagine what it's like in person. :metal:

Not sure how Mazepin got away without a penalty, considering Vettel got a penalty for doddling around the final corner in Austria and blocking Alonso. Consistency has never been the stewards strong suit though so no surprise here. :slaphead:

That is not the first time

I dont undertsand why they keep making same mistakes by trying to save a set of tires.
Put the softs on and youre thru. So what if the tyres are old 2 laps then, i mean seriously. Better 2 then 20 laps on then.
And then the team wonders again why did it happen to them.

Not just you - the first time I saw them I wasn't sure if they were there for business or art

What? How on Earth did they not give him AND Mick a penalty? Seb nearly smashed into the back of him cause he was dicking around with Mick. Next time there is any penalty applied to anyone for blocking I would fight it and point to this non decision.

must have something to do with associates of Mr Dmitry Mazepin going to the stewards and asking politely to not take action on Haas drivers

I'd say something like that, Mazepin has to be so far in with the russian mob that anyone penalising him will have serious reprecussions against their character, like being made the next president of the united states or something :whistling:

One day Mazepin and Stroll will come together in a blatent move and the stewards will quietly leave the track before they can issue a penalty.... :innocent:

Russian Mafia meets dodgy Canadian Billionaire. Drive to Survive would have a melt down.

actually Strulovich is from russian jewish descent, so he's a sort of canadian Bugsy Siegel that set high fashion as his "legitimate business"

so Haas and Aston Martin will soon make a joint venture just called "The Racing Syndicate"

Apparently max accidentally shifted from 4 to 6 (??) due to a bump so could have been even faster. Also might have had issue with the drs.

Mercedes also seemed to be in breach of the tyre blanket rules but I assume no further action as it’s Mercedes.

Looking at T3, as a crash guy, I wouldn't be suprised if at the start somebody crashes here like in todays F3 race, bounces back a little bit into the outside racing line and then gets collected by another one. Something like Bristol Big One. They have a lot of speed there

I really want Perez to do well, but it's not entirely on the team. He should have set a faster lap earlier in the session. He's had a poor run of races and needs to turn things around. Not going to be easy to make up places here either.

Still, there's a good chance of safety cars, red flags, and mixed strategies.

I just hope they don't collide at T4 & T5. Wheels touch there and you get Spa 1998 in dry. Though we always fear the same at Baku.

So not allowed to stuck in the pits because of how tight it is. SC/VSC could make things interesting for teams with their cars running together.
