If you guess the latter, you're correct. Well, 2/3rds of it, anyway.

Now you see why we have team orders?

After a caution filled race, that was the most worthy finish for this race.

Ross Chastain is such a fucking dimwit. Just a catastrophically pathetic moron. Can’t believe the commentators were caping for him after that move.

It’s frustrating that “going for the win” means “you get to just drive through the person in front of you” and all the commentators are like “yeah, seems reasonable.”

That's where I take issue with his attitude towards the thing. You know you have one more superspeedway race on the schedule and you're already in the playoffs. Why risk it? Especially since your team may wind up 1-2-3 clean and pristine. All Chastain did is destroy a car or two he could have used for Talladega. And people expected HIM to replace Kyle Larson after he became a fucking idiot by dropping that N-bomb in a broadcasted Monza oval meme race?

Credit to Allmendinger, he seemed calm for a guy that got fenced out of a win.

Ah, so Chastain used the good old 'going for the win' excuse for this one. It's right up there 'you gotta do what you gotta do'.

Watch these interviews, aside from only being worth watching for the replays, count how many times "we were racing for the win" is said

Even freaking Allmendinger says it was pretty much ok because "we were racing for the win"

Jesus Christ....

I don't think anyone wanted Biffle to wreck his team mate for the win, they just wanted him to at least try running side by side before the line instead of sitting behind and playing Barrichello to Kenseth's Schumacher

Likewise, Chastain should race for the win, not just take a non-chance when he was already completely covered and Austin Dillon his team mate out of the way because he can't take the fact he'd lose momentum when his team-mate had his move blocked

That Dinger interview felt like he was trying his hardest not to verbally rip Chastain a new one.

Did the prayer guy just say "We thank you for this momentary pause in the pandemic?"

...Jesus Wept...

This command to start engines feels more like a commercial than a command.
