Alternate strategy wasn't the optimal one this weekend. Well managed clean race by Ilott.

Ilott's doing well with that combination of a great team, speed and a year's experience

To be honest, at risk of sounding sentimental, it makes me sad thinking about what Hubert could've done this year given how much better than Ilott he was in GP3 and last year. If he'd landed at one of the top teams he'd really be marking himself out

Ticktum can go swivel, obviously

Obviously he saw how being an entitled douchebaggy arsehole did well enough for Ferruci so I can only imagine Ticktum has his eyes on getting a drive in Indycar?

How he still has a career is anyone's guess. He must be on the latest of last chances and now still behaves like this, some people just will not get it through their heads that everyone else in the world is the problem, it's them

Saying that, Plato must be close to retiring soon.... :whistling:

Ticktum is a joke. He needs to just go away.

Did they even give Ticktum a reprimand for saying that? Yes I know that they were words and not actions, but that fuck head has previous and would totally do what he said he would. And to say that over team radio for it to be broadcast? Talk about bringing the sport into disrepute.

But far and away the most galling thing....he isn't even very good.

Does Peter Windsor get a bonus for every mention of Nigel Mansell this weekend?

A Schumacher driving into an opponent?

Perish the thought.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yeah that was poor from Mick. Especially when you consider how much Prema have struggled here, they really needed to make the most of today

Maybe in 20 years you can look back at that move saying he was a fierce competitor giving it all, but right now it just looks dumb.

"No Further Action because Jean Todt got on the phone and told them not to penalise anyone with the name Schumacher"

I think Mick expected Shwartzman to back out given how shot his tyres were and his position in the championship. Even if it's Mick's fault, it's still poor driving from Shwartzman - he should have just banked the points for 2nd

Also pointless giving Mick a penalty given he was 14 seconds ahead of the guy behind
